Trying to hide from the sun?

We have all been there! Trapped in the house due to the intense heat from the sun. Enjoy the deck, porch or patio with a new patio cover or awning. Our awnings are a secondary covering attached to the exterior wall of a building. It is typically composed of canvas woven of acrylic, cotton or polyester yarn, or vinyl laminated to polyester fabric that is stretched tightly over a light structure of aluminium. The location of an awning on a building may be above a window, a door, deck, patio or above the area along a sidewalk. Awnings look very rich and attractive as well as do a wonderful job  providing shade, breaking strong winds, and protecting from rain or snow. In areas with wintry weather, most awnings do not have to be taken down at the end of the summer – they can remain retracted against the building all winter long, or be designed and built for those conditions. Patio covers on the other hand are more designed to be a permanent structure that do all the things an awning is intended for but can also have lighting and fans built into them and do not need to be closed due to inclimate weather.
