The NC Deck & Railing Company's in home consultations are a little bit different than most other companies. Our consultations have 4 key goals. First, not only hear, but fully understand the customers wants and /or needs of their project. Second, perform a site inspection to make sure that we can not only fully address the customers wants and /or needs with the correct products, but also to confirm that it is a project that we can do while meeting and exceeding the customers expectations. Third, give a thorough breakdown of all the options that NC Deck & Railing Company offers and educate the customer on the differences between the options so the customer can make their choices based on what is best for them. And finally, fourth, within 24 hours of any consultation, our customers will receive, in writing, a proposal (Not an estimate. Estimates are close guesses. Proposals are to the penny.) outlining the scope of work including specific materials, colors, and layouts with a guaranteed final price. You will also receive a follow up phone call confirming that your proposal was received and to make sure that you understood everything on it. NC Deck & Railing Company is not in the business of selling products and services, we are in the business to educate our clients so that they are confident in the purchases they make when working with us.

NC Deck & Railing Company would love to meet with a customer, provide a product and service that is a solution to a want and /or need, agree on a price, and move forward with a handshake. Although there will be a handshake, as we appreciate every opportunity and project that customers trust us in fulfilling, we are cognizant that we are not perfect, nor is memory. Every project that we satisfy, has a detailed contractual agreement, that in writing, details all of the expectations of both parties including:

We have found over time that any agreed to service is set up for the best experience in writing. It creates accountability, expectability, and a roadmap to success. Everything we do is in writing. You can rest assured that you are covered.

Once NC Deck & Railing Company has earned the trust and business of a customer by contract, the Production process begins. It looks like this:

- Contracts are turned over to production.

- Pre-production job walks are scheduled and executed.

- Materials are ordered.

- Tentative start dates are given to our customers.

- Materials are received.

- Hard production dates are scheduled.

- Courtesy calls are made to our customers the day prior to installation.

- The installation team arrives, introduces themselves, explains the process and makes sure that there are no questions and proceeds.

- Production is completed and Project Manager performs job walk with customers and reviews Zero Defects form with customer to make sure of craftsmanship, clean up and understanding of operations.

When a project is completed and turned in to the office by our Project Managers, the process is not over like it is with other companies. Production Management receives final paperwork, reviews Zero Defects form and finishes the production process with the following:

- Post production job walk is scheduled and performed by company personnel different from installation team.

- Warranty card sent out to customers.

- Customer Survey Satisfaction performed with customer over the phone.

- Customer is now NC Deck & Railing Family!
